more on exercise.......... not a great day as i ate a sinful bag of chips etc, but i did take the dog out for about a hour long walk. for a while i would run to the count of ten, then i would walk to the count of twenty...whatever..its good to get the heart beating. also I practiced some relaxing and breathing exercises I found on the web when I looked up Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. i once climbed a high difficult mountain. I would take two steps forward and then slide back a step...and then advance two steps etc...... that's what today was like. bob

Dear Bob, thanks for the tip about the stairs. I am going to try it today. Keep up the fight! Trisha

Hi Bob. I am a newbie, so I'm just getting acquainted w/e'thing and e'one. I am currently in counseling and my counselor (wonderful lady!) insists that I exercise. She says that exercise is huge in combatting depression. I believe it. I am starting to walk and have decided to purchase a treadmill so I have no excuse when the weather's bad. Just thought that would be helpful to you.

hello more input from my little world...i've beem doing short bursts of running up and down my stairs throughout the day, starting from when I get up and am somewhat groggy. i really feel an improvement in energy whenever I do this. I think it helps combat depression bob
