Check with your doc. If it is the med., then maybe he/she can change it. All meds have some side effects. It's what we can take and the severity of the side effects. Everyone is different. My meds have been changed more times than I can remember. Once even for severe leg cramping. If it's not the meds, then maybe he/she can advise you on how to eliminate those nightmares or what else could be causing them. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

Well, I have been on Wellbutrin XL now for about a year. Your post caught my attention because I find that I have a lot of dreams that are more intense and memorable since the Wellbutrin, but didn't really make the connection between the two if there is one. I find it bothersome because so often I feel tired and worn out because of the dreams. Have you asked your doctor if the nightmares could be related to the medication?

Good day my fellow friends, i've been frequently coming to this site for may be two weeks, i like it. hearing everyones experiences and coping situations has put a whole new oulook on depression for me. i've begun to understand it a little better and myself as well. i notice the signs now when i feel "those feelings" coming on. i've been able to talk myself out of two bad situations where i could of seen myself in a bad place. and the meds really help to. well anyway,on to my reason to post... has anyone whose been taking wellbutrin XL noticed a frequent amount of nightmares? i havent had a memorable dream let alone nightmare in a long long time like a year or more. and well the past three nights i've had real bad dreams to where i have woken up in cold sweats and crying? i'am on my 10th day of the meds and i just started taking the 300mg once daily pill 4 days ago. i thinking that's what it is and it will subside within time, but i just wanted to know if anyone dealt with this?
