Citalopram and anxiety

21 years ago 0 84 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I am on the same medication but also take a medication for anxiety as well as Wellbutrin. Alot of folks have expressed having difficulty with this generic version of "Celexa" but I have noticed no ill side effects myself. I would suggest that you call the doctor who prescribed the medication and let him or her know what's going on. Everybody reacts differently to medications.

Hi Mary, There's a whole thread about this under "Celexa/Citalopram". A lot of us have had problems with it; all the details there..... Hope that answers all your questions. Kate14

Hi, recently started taking very low dose of citalopram, i think it has been making me feel much worse, especially anxious and agitated. As anyone else had this problem ? Any views appreciated. Mary
