Hi,
We all respond to meds differently. My doc didn't prescribe Wellbutrin for me because he said it could stimulate my anxiety. I have a friend who can't take Wellbutrin either because she becomes more anxious.
I take Effexor which is helping me. I know people who have become anxious from Effexor, so it really is how our different chemistries respond.
However, if I were feeling anxious with what I know about Wellbutrin, I would talk with my doctor.
I'm going through a divorce and felt like my life collapsed in the fall. I have never felt such terrible depression or anxiety in my life.
I'm now to a point where I'm more grieving and grinding out a new life, but I'm not dealing with crushing depression any longer, or anxiety.
I'm also taking ativan, and plan on staying on my med combo until I'm really on my feet. I might then wean back to the levels I was on before my husband left me.

Hi there,
New to the forum.. I am a long time anxiety/panic depression sufferer.
Been on Wellbutrin SR 350 a day for a good few months.
Struggling right now with high anxiety and depression.
Did any one find success with a higher dose?
Thanks
