Depression can last hours, or weeks, or even months, it just depends. How long have you been feeling like this? Have you gone to see your family doctor, it is important to let them know how you are feeling. I bet it felt nice to take your son to school! Keep posting, we're here to help.

hi!.. How long can depression last...I am feeling a bit desperate and low right now..trying to put my christmas decorations up, I never slept a wink of sleep last night so now I am exhausted..mind you last night was the first night this has happened. I also managed to take my son to school this morning, something i haven't done in over a weeks.. Just want some friendly words from a fellow sufferer to boost me up..luv mxxx
