get help while you're young

Liz I second that note! I have lived for a major portion of my life with depression. I would like to think had it been diagnosed and treated earlier that I would not be sitting here with the dogs at this time fighting for every day! pooh

After reading so many of the messages posted on various subjects, I'm struck by how many of the writers are young adults. As someone who is older and wasn't diagnosed until fairly recently, I wish I could tell all of you younger people to seek help now, even if it takes a while to find the right medication or therapist. By doing that, you can lead a happier and more productive life instead of being kept a prisoner of depression.
