If you feel you have PTSD I think the first step would be to get a diagnosis and then look into treatment. PTSD can be treated with CBT. This program is a CBT program but it is not intended to treat PTSD specifically; however, there are elements within the program that may help you.
thankyou everyone this has been extremely hard and its set of terrible anxiety.im not even sure where to start
my lil cat came home 5 days later needing reconstructive surgery as shed been hit by a car.shes survived even though the vet said they almost didnt gve us the option of surgery.shs had her jaw reconstructed and she lost her eye but shes already eating just a week after surgery
but this and the problems ive had with my son beign ill for months i now feel im suffering post traumatic stress.will this program here still help me with this ?

Having my cat missing would reopen my anxiety and I'd have to work to keep it down. But then they do become family and mine certainly are. I hope yours comes home.
well i have been thrown in at the deep end and had to face a lot of fears.my son ended up having to go to hospital in an ambulance.it wasnt just him being ill that got me but gettign into a moving vehicle that i couldnt see out of.along with havign to face hospital and not knowing what would happen with ym son.thrown in at deep end definately
but i think i managed quite well helped by the techniques ive been learnign here
my sons ok again now and my anxiety or panic levels are not as bad as id expected them to be after an ordeal like that.
unfortunately my beloved cat has been missign now for 5 days and at first the techniques helped with that too but now as times goen on i noticed the more emotional im gettign the more the panicy feelings are creeping back in
I used to have HA, but then I realized Google is going to give you the scariest scenarios. I think when I made a list of all of my symptoms and every test came back normal, my mind was able to let go of those type anxieties. However I don't know what to with the HA that I have for someone else when I dearly love them. It's a fear of losing a loved one that trips me and causes me to fall into anxiety abyss.
