Now, I have mostly seroquel and clonazepam. I had some success with Cymbalta in the past.  And you?

I am glad I found this website, my name is Todd and I have panic disorder. I have a very good life, I'm married to a wonderful wife and have three beautiful children. I have always been very anxious as long as I can remember. I was put on Zoloft when I was 18 and it seemed to be a miracle drug for me. I also had Xanax to take prn but only had to take a few over the years. Had to increase my dose of Zoloft a few times over the 15 yr span that I was on it but it worked well. Then in November of 2014 it just completely stopped working for me. I was having panic attacks daily and the constant impending doom feeling. Well I tried to get an appointment with my primary doc because that's the only type of doc I have ever seen and guess what? She had closed her practice and wasn't re opening. So this sucks for me because now I have to find a new primary doc . So there I go to google to find a good one, the first one I went to said it all was in my head and that I could fix it all myself  without meds and said that Xanax was the worst drug out there and I needed to see a psyc doc. But she added Wellbutrin to my Zoloft thinking it would make it work better and gave me 20 Xanax until the welly would start to work. Well what she told me I really didn't like, it really upset me that she told me I could fix it myself and to see a pdoc because no one had ever told me this before. Also the Wellbutrin/Zoloft didn't work, so I decided to get an appointment with another and guess what, she told me the same thing. So I finally decided to see a pdoc and I made an appointment with one. The first one I went to was awesome, it was like talking to my grandma. She made me accept that I was born with this and it wasn't all in my head but I did make it worse on myself. She diagnosed me with GAD and Panic disorder and took me off of the wellbutrin/zoloft combo that wasn't working and started me on xanax .5 as needed and vibryd 10 mg for 7 days 20 mg for 7 days then on to 40 mg it was too much so she dropped me back to 20 mg. Also I was on the starter pack so she never gave me a script for it, wanted to see if it worked first. Well I got to the end of my starter pack and needed to decide if I was staying on it or not so I called her to see what she thought, guess what my newly found pdoc that I loved had a stroke and was to nit be practicing anymore. So now I'm on my last dose of vibryd freaking out because I don't have a script for it. Luckily the pharmacist at cvs knows me well and gave me a weeks worth until I could figure out what to do. So I searched for a new pdoc and found another good one, he was not a fan of vibryd and it really wasn't working so we decided to switch to Brintellix I stayed on that for 60 days and it didn't work either. I am now on Lexapro and Xanax xr 1mg daily. Started at 10 mg of lex and it was working for about 2 months then I started back sliding. So I just increased to 15 mg last week. Sorry my post is so long just wanted to give some background. Look forward to talking to y'all.
