Core Beliefs

Hi Cara423,

Check out depressioncenter.net. There are some sessions in that program that directly focus on core beliefs.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Ashley,

I hope to change a lot of things about how I see my health,  especially as I'm again. that's the only anxiety I have really.... how would I change that?

Aging, getting older and possible getting more sicker?

What core belief do you hope to change? What would you like your new core belief to be?

Cara

Think back to when you were young, did you possibly build a core belief that says you were wrong. This is a common one that comes from other people telling you this. This is different from logic that says you could be wrong. There is also the fear of being wrong. This phobia can build a core belief too. These types of core beliefs can keep you from changing the one you want too. If they are there you need to go back to the root core and start there. You can't change a core belief if you have one attached that says it is wrong to change. To change mine I first had to find the ones giving reason for the ones I wanted to change.

Its so darn hard to change the core belief of mine...it keeps resurfacing.....

and when it resurfaces it causes me anxiety, then my symptoms return, derealization, dizziness.... this battle is still going.  But I think i'm going to tackle this Core belief once and for all.  I will forget to fight with the anxiety, instead tackle this core belief.

I need to change it a different belief, it will be hard but I think I can do.  I buried it before, I can bury it deeper again...and deeper again, and deeper again.
This cycle will hopefully take longer to come around.
