Welcome RainNicole,

I am glad you are getting started. Anxiety is one of the most manageable mental health conditions out there. Anxiety  disorders are very common and sometimes it is normal to feel anxious. The point is to take control of it enough so that it doesn't greatly interfer with your life. How are you finding the program so far?  Any questions?

Hello RainNicole..Welcome to the program and support group..It's good to have you on board..
Once you start reading and working the sessions things will start to improve, I am sure.
Take your time with it as we all do here..and it will happen before you know it..

Welcome RN, My doc suggested this site too years ago. Nothing is a cure-all, but CBT is a solid foundation.

Hi Everyone

I have been recently diagnosed with anxiety after ruling out any other physical issues that could be causing my shortness of breath. Don't know why I didn't figure this out for myself before, but it all makes sense now.

My main fears are:
a) Dealing with my divorce and
b) Allowing intense people into my space
c) Heights

My GP recommended CBT, so I am going to try it out and give it my best shot. Looking forward to getting to know you all as we work towards healing.
