Thank you for your concern. I appreciate it. I was actually looking for a humorous way to explain how core beliefs get started. See they are always something related but unrealistic. Multiplied they become real even if they are not. Once the fear becomes real in your mind it is very hard to change it especially if it started in childhood.
Just so you all know, I don't fear these things can make something else fall off.
If you look at repetitive things that have happened to you, you may find a related thing that has become a core belief for you. And you may find it is not true even though you want to think it is. Left alone it will grow offshoots. This is one of the ways anxiety sneaks up on us.
I'm having a bad day, this morning I got up and a button fell off my shirt. I broke a shoe lace, then the handle fell off the coffee pot, the door handle came off in my hand. NOW i'm afraid to go to the bathroom.
