My back was ruined and I wasn't able to return to work. I didn't end up with compensation though. My back is still horrible but I am working through it. I have sciatic nerve issues.
My job situation changed, I am no longer working with small children so there will no longer be any lifting of kids, which is great! I posted about my job on the other board.
Well, I have had a set back in a way, physical. On Monday I went to lift a child, slipped a bit in the snow and hurt my back very seriously. I was in so much agony I thought I would pass out! I handed over the child quickly and went inside. I was super pale.
So now I find myself waiting to see the chiropractor for todays appointment and I am not working! I am out for the time being. I can barely sit for long enough to type this. My chiropractor is suggesting that I may not be able to return to my current type of employment so I will just have to wait and see.
I thought I should update everyone and remind us all that we need to take care of ourselves and be careful!
