But maybe it is time to drawn the line when the person or corporation at the other end is not listening and you find yourself on a endless treadmill and dealing with mindless unfeeling person or entity. I mean they can ignore you indefinitely if they want to but still mess up your life your credit and cheat you out of money even when you can prove you payed them and you can also prove that they are double dipping/double that's billing you and your insurance and getting paid twice. First they scare you into paying because your insurance my no cover a service,
than they offer you a price that is much lower than you will have to pay them if your insurance doesn't cover..
So you agree out of fear and pay them because you can not afford to not pay them and they promise you they will not bill your insurance..but guess what they did..and they paid too..So you report it to your health insurance carrier which is the government in my case because it is your duty to report it and they have you fax all your receipts and say they will see what they can do and you report it to the patient advocate at the clinic and he laughs and says he will check into it..and you still have no way to communicate with these people Really, no phone number with a person on the other end, everyones mailboxes are full and they have no email..You don't even have a dept name or address to mail send mail to...
This is where you drawn the line, cut your losses and safe yourself before it is to late..and you hope to God they quit billing you for things that have already been paid, and you hope that they don't mess up your credit, for you have done nothing but be responsible in all ways possible..You hope that they will leave you alone so that you can get well. You hope that you can walk away and not spent your last days of your life on Earth in Hell...That what you hope for..and thats what I am doing now..
I feel your pain. Too much technology can really get in the way of people connecting.
It can be tough when you want to talk to a "real" person and get "real" answers and you are stuck with a machine. Yet, if we didn't have the technology we wouldn't be typing together now so it's a tough one. When do we draw the line? What do you think?
I wish that was the case in my case and they did increase the speed and efficiency but no such luck..I mean it isn't the devices fault..It is a operator error and it would sure help if the operator was Honest, had some integrity and some intelligence. Of course that is hard for them to do when they are working for a money hungry corporation who cares more about making money that Honesty..I agree there is more to life than speed..I am working hard to away from this corporate health care money making machine. I am now at a point where I am now getting ready to cut my losses monetarily, physically and emotionally and run for my life in hopes that it is not to late for me..I would love to slow down, rest and finally get well again so day soon.
I have been very busy pushing myself, making phone calls, faxing, and private messaging and hopefully resolving some ongoing issues so that I can move forward again..Life was so much easier when people talked instead of using the computer for everything. Of course that is when they still knew how to talk and were interesting in communicating..
There is a art to communication..it is more than texting or emailing little snippets. At least for me is it especially when doing business. Writhing a business or personal letter or composing a short story is becoming a lost art form and talking to a person in person, What is that?! I find real communication is missing in this new world and I miss it..and sometimes the though of having to communicate with people who have lost the ability, desire, or just maybe never were taught how to communicate is excruciating!
