hi everyone! i'm back.. been without the SSC for a couple of days, but have been strong enough to stay "Quit".
I'm soooo needy right now !! I'm here for a "Bump" from you guys!
My son is in the military and has been serving in Iraq since March of last year. He was due to come home in early March, but we found out last night his stay has been extended for 125 more days.
Old Nic is nagging at me really hard today. I have had no sleep and feel like I'm going CRAZY!! any encouragement would be deeply appreciated!

I started Chantix 3 weeks before my quit date and have done better on this than any other method I've tried (I've tried them all)
But, I really believe that joing SSC has helped me far more than anything would have. You will still have bad days and strong cravings, but we're all just a click away and will be here for you through the rough times!!
Hang in there!

Keep on Keepin on!!
I always tell myself "One puff, or one cig, it wouldn't be enough" and that has kept me on track for the last 10 days. don't give in to "Nic the deamon" ! You will win .. like stated earlier... good against evil..

Kaiti, Terri, and Marie... thanks for your encouragement..!!
do you guys have IM? I'm not having too much luck with it..
yesterday, I didn't have time to get online, but I did ok. I started working out at a local gym and it has made me feel much better. I have probably gained 8 + lbs in the last 10 days, but that's ok...I'm focusing on getting healthy in every way I can.
I don't know where I'd be today if I didn't have you guys!
Thanks! :)

Hi Marie- I'm on Chantix also, but have not been advised to go to 3 tablets a day. Maybe that would be a good idea for "the really bad days"... I'll try it!! of course, I'll check with my dr first :)
Let me know how it works for you

yesterday was great! I didn't take my chantix pill last night and I don't feel so great today. I wonder what will happen when I stop taking chantix all together. I'm a little worried about that now.
I will not smoke today!! Still taking this one day at a time.
