Jo,
Unfortunatly money is a huge stressor for many people. Have you tried anything to help ease your stress on this issue? Speaking with professionals may help to refocus your energy and set some worry aside.
Members , how do you deal with stressful life situations?

has anyone heard?

Karla,
There are always "stories" or tales going around that are put out there to get a rise out of people. No one can predict the future and that's what's great about life,  we have to take it one day at a time.

Low Self-Esteem

Members,

Has an illness, addiction or other left your self-esteem in the gutter? In the weeks to come, we will be exploring various strategies to help rebuild your self-esteem:
Defining low self-esteem

Low self – esteem often takes three forms; the “imposter”, the “rebel” or the “loser”.
The imposter often acts happy but is in reality quite fearful of failure. This type of individual often feeds on successes to keep up the appearance of positive self-esteem. Trouble with procrastination, perfectionism, burn out or competition often results.
The rebel often belittles the good will of others, especially if they are of important social, political or financial status. The individual often wrestles with the idea that they are “not good enough” and is quick to anger. Trouble with the law, authority figures, rules and blaming others often results.
The loser often plays the role of a martyr, relying on others for guidance. This individual often uses self-pity & indifference to side step taking responsibility for their own lives. Trouble with assertiveness, underachieving & codependency often result.
Do you see yourself in any of these categories?
