haha.. I know who I WON'T be using to pet sit while away. lol
api - Someone here once said the anger is part of the grieving cycle that we all go through with quitting. Next up, depression! Just kidding. There is an anger to it I think, that feeling of deprivation and why can't I smoke??? I used to work with the most good natured, happy, easy going guy. Until he quit smoking - then he turned into Godzilla. He told us that he was in the Kmart parking lot and he yelled at an old lady who was just trying to cross the lane. I still laugh about that because it was soooo not him. Don't worry, it will pass. Your brain is just freaking out right now... it will level out.
Or maybe you should just eat a doughnut!

Same as you... I had quit a few times before but not for very long. It seemed scary to really quit though. My particular fear was how to handle all the different emotions and situations without a cigarette. As this quit progressed I was lucky to find this site. Everyone here really helped me get through each situation. Does not feel half as scary! I feel like I have a whole team behind me this time. It has been rough at times but I'm much more confident of success.
When I first quit, I was glued to this site and read way back in the forums. It was a relief to see that so many had gone through the same fears and issues. There was so much good advice that I felt more prepared. Don't worry, this time stick close and post whenever you want! There is usually someone around to help out. You can do it!

Oh Den, I'm sorry that you have been feeling down. I remember when I first joined the SSC I'd see your sparkly avatar and I thought "there's a sparkly lady". I hope you get your sparkle back and feel happy again. You know we are all here to help if we can.
Maybe you should go to Red Lobster TWICE this year as a extra special reward!! You deserve it!
Take care.
