So ive stopped smoking for ages and ages now, i still feel really good about it! I have also started going to a jogging club with the aim of running 6 miles for my charity in May...which i know i'll hit the target. Been going to the gym most days as well and working out harder than the usual work out.
HOwever, even though i'm doing a lot more than usual - i'm obsessed with chocolate...i can't stop thinking about it when i'm going to have my next chocolate! I'm secretly eating chocolate all the time to abnormal levels and ive put on two pounds - which i shouldn't be doing considering the ammount of exercise i'm doing at the moment!
Although i have put on two pounds, i have lost one inch around my waist which is good. But, i know that eating this much sugar is not good for diabetis and i worry about that!
So who is going to help this secret chocolate eater - get off the chocolate? Any offers? Is it normal to become obsessed, completely obsessed with something else like this when one has given up smoking? How long will it take till this craving chocolate dies down? Or do i have to accept that i may have to be turning into a fat minger for the rest of my life?
fussyone!

Well you too it doesn't look like i'm doing anything about the chocolate - well i kind of had - already this morning i decided that the best thing to do is eat all the chocolate in the house. There were only four two bar kit kats left - and i had to eat them all...see how bad i am? Anyway now i have none left in the house (my daughter will not be happy about that!) i won't buy any more. So if i want some i have to make the effort to go to the shop, so its likely i'll eat less chocolate.
I haven't really had any cravings for cigarettes at all - but this chocolate craving thing is driving me mad - i think about it all the time. Must be some kind of transferrance or something.
And NOOOOOOOOOOOO your not having the chocolate (they all want the chocolate my precious...starting to feel like i'm in 'lord of the rings').
Yeah goofy - three weeks :) :8|: i'm really pleased about that.
Ok suppose i need to get on with work rather than eating chocolate.

Nooooooooooo one can have the precious - its mine! My milk tray (they want to take it from me) :)....thanks for the permission everyone for keep eating chocolate, i think its good advise as i have managed to keep my stock up by going to grandmas to clean the house and grandad gave me a box (as she is diabetic)...i think its only right that i help out and eat all the chocolates!
Of course, i'm thinking of grandmas best interest - the sacrifices we have to make!

Re set my date to giving up tomorrow - 14th valentines day as a gift to myself. I just feel like such an idiot because i was doing so well..its going to be a little harder as last time i had champix for the first two weeks which helped a lot but, it is a mind set i need to get back into mainly. I can't go back on the champix as i didn't sleep on it, that is why i came off it so soon so, its going to have to be cold turkey again. I feel like i have reversed all the good i have done!
