Hi Kelly! Yeah, it kind of is exciting! Now I'm just kind of grossed out because i cleaned a small spot on my bedroom ceiling. WOW. You just don't notice how things get til you clean a spot! LOL! And thats just a ceiling. I can imagine my lungs! Yuck! 14 days for you?? AWESOME! How does it feel??

I've seen where some people switched brands before they quit to make the cigs less appealing. Did that help anyone here? Just curious! Thanks for the input everyone! Dan

Well, my bedroom ceiling looks alot better! I still think I'll slap a fresh coat of paint on it tomorrow. I opened a pack early this morning, and still have 8 left! GO ME! LOL! Normally i would have been on my third pack by now. Something else I've noticed today.....normally, I'm not a cougher. I hack a few times in the morning and thats it for the day. But today I've been coughing much more, and {not to be gross,] getting stuff up. I guess my body is already trying to heal I would assume? Clean my lungs out, ect.? Been alittle dizzy this afternoon, but I think thats because I'm getting air! LOL! Anyone else get the dizzy's? Thanks all!

Hey SieMarie! Thank you for the note you left on my post! You sound like you have a plan. GOOD FOR U! Just stick with it. I'm actually suprised at how well I'm doing thus far. I'm sure you can do the same. I've found the people here to be open and honest in thier journeys, and give honest opinions when asked. Use it! It has really helped me so far. Hello everone! Thanks for the input. Answers some questions forme. I kind of figured thats what was going on. Hope everyone is doing well today? I was craving pretty bad this morning, but it's better now. Only had three so far today! Thats REALLY good for me! LOL! Hang tough guys and gals!

I think maybe it's time I told my family and friends what my plan is....yes. So far noone knows but my sister, as she's wanting to quit also. I've been more than my normal reclusive the past few days as my mood isn't sparkling! LOL! {To say the least.} But I am still excited by the whole prospect of being a NON-smoker. I plan to take the money saved from the butts, and put it into more music equipment. {I play Keyboards.} Would love to reward myself with an external Hard Drive for my ASR-10 and be able to record directly to CD. Lord...Listen to me rambling...sorry folks! Thanks for the message Kelly! Sure is something to consider!

Good afternoon! I was so glad to hear your doing so well! Not easy I know. But I'm finding that the harder I make it in my own head, the harder it actually becomes. DON'T think about it! Get your mind somewhere else like you did this morning. Spending time with your little one, Listen to or play some music, take a walk, and drink plenty of water. Sounds silly i know, but it does help. Flushes the chemicals from your body, and gives the brain a break! Thanks for the chat last night! I'm so glad I could help in some small way. I've actually reset my timer a few times today without a smoke in between. Yippii! Hope it helps you as well. Stay strong!
