Way to go I'm just finishing day 4 as well. Had a bit of a ruff day on thursday pretty cranky and wanted a cig real bad for about 5minutes and then gone on to other stuff at work and forgot about it. I too have been feeling slugging and tired this week. Only had one bad bout of coughing and cleared out some gunk but I guess its all part of the process of coming clean as they say. congrats on your 4th day everybody has been saying they are so proud of me I guess I'm proud of me too. Thanks I have been reading alot of the posts and it really does help.
Hello I'm a new non smoker as of Jan 16th/07, I'm using the patch as well as my husband and it seems to be going okay. :)

Wow!! way to go !! I am a new nonsmoker using the patch and had been wondering If I am going to have to go through all 3 steps of using the patch. Its good to hear that you were able to manage to quit the patch after 18 days. kootos to you ;)
I have been putting 10.00 into a US account every day since my quit that is my reward everyday as that is what I would of spent on cigs
I'm saving for a vacation in 2008 to Hawaii
I also started walking every day at leat 30 min. it makes me feel so good to be able to beath in the fresh crisp air and not cough like I used to

11 whole days, just about 2 weeks I can hardly believe it. The time has gone by so quickly.
I am buying Step 2 of the patch today, I feel 2 weeks on Step 1 is enough My husband and I are both doing really well no real biggies to speak of except we both are dealing with the constipation.
Will get over it I'm sure. Drinking lots of fluids (water and juices)
Been reading alot of the posts this am they are all very helpful.
2 WEEKS JUST AROUND THE CORNER YAAA!!!!!!!! ;)

Hey there Dayone I'm right behind you on day 8 Isn't it great!!!
Congradulations
I've had a few of the symptons mild headache the first few days, coughing spell on about day3 and I still am not sleeping well I've actually started taking the patch off before I go to bed and putting it back on first thing in the am. I figured I never smoked through the night before so I don't need the nicotine through the night.
I've started going for a 30min walk on my lunch break, which was when I used to have a couple of cigs. NO MORE The walks are really refreshing and really makes me feel good for the rest of the afternoon. Freedom is Just A Breath Away
