How much does it cost you?

Hi there, I have been wondering about that as well here in Alberta Canada I was paying 11.00/pkg of 25 cigs, when I quit, A box of the patch was 24.00 (Nic-assist) 7patches/box,I seen the nicorette gum was 50.00 not sure how many were in it I think 24 peices. Crazy how expensive they have become when I started smoking they were 55cents/pkg. Boy I'm giving away my age now. Interesting topic I'd like to know what others are paying around the world. Glad I'm now putting that money away for a great holiday in 2008 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 81 Amount Saved: $55 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 14 Seconds: 8

My First Weekend

Hi Audrey, I'm feeling the same as you I'm over day 3 and starting day 4 and worried about the weekend as well. Iwork 5 days a week in a non smoking enviroment and your used to not smoking there now like you I'll have to try and keep myself busy and not let myself slip over the weekend. Had a bad day yesterday afternoon and evening felt very depressed and cranky, and very tired in the evening. So I just went to bed extra early and feel better today. Hope I don't feel that way again today. For a few minutes there I really wanted a cig but thought thats not going to change anything but make it worse so I waited it out and then it was gone but the depression lasted all afternoon. Anybody else have those type of feelings. Hope you get through weekend I'll be thinking of you.

FRANK AND TAMI NEW NON SMOKERS

Hello Frank and Tami...... nice another husband & wife team are doing it together you really do need your spouse to quit along with you it just helps so much, even though you each go through your own emotions and feelings of quitting you have each other to keep you going at least thats how it is with me and my husband. I could not have done this if we hadn't decided together noway. Today is our 5th day and so far so good even the weekend which I was worried about is not so bad although I've been keeping busy and keep coming here to read and reasure myself. This is a great place to come to. Hope to hear from you again Keep up the great work.
