You know I realised today that what I posted earlier was completely stupid... Let me explain. I run tournaments for a collectible card game once a week on a Sunday. I have now done this twice since I quit, and you know what the most stupid part of all this is?? I runt the bleeding tournaments in a pub... LOL..
Most of the players are non smokers and there is the smoking ban in all public places. If I can handle a Sunday why not a Friday night??? I don't drink when I am out on the town so there is no trigger there to tempt me back into smoking...
I am a right doozy... LOL

Hey there sweetie,
I know that as I post this it isn't quite 21 days where you are, but I just had to post this before I go AWOL for a week or so.. Have family visiting so won't be online much but I will be checking my emails dauly (if you need me drop me a line).
I just wanted to say a HUGE well done to you on reaching this milestone.. I am so very proud of you as, I am sure, are your darling Husband and fantastic kids...
Keep it up sweetie, you know that you are worth it...

Well,
So far, so good guys... I have managed to lose 3 pounds in the past 3 days... I am so very happy with that... I knew that chewing on popcorn would work... LOL
Seriously though, losing 3 pounds makes a difference, and doing it wasn't easy, I have cut out almost all snacks unless they are fruit or popcorn, and I have been exercising like a creature possessed... Either walking to town and back or spending 30 mins a day on the LTT.. Discovered that 30 mins in one go was too much for me to handle, so I have started with 3*10 minute sessions... I will then up them to 15 and then to 20 once I feel that I am getting a bit fitter...
Tomorrow is another walk to town, but I will be getting the bus home, picking up my baby sister and nephew from the bus station so I may not be around for a week or so... Don't worry though, if I need to I will come online....

Hi Correen,
I experienced something like this for the first couple of days of my quit... Like there was a weight onmy chest and I just couldn't breathe deep enough. It cleared by itself but I agree if it persists and you feel worried in any way see your doctor...
Hope you feel better soon...
Krissie
Great going so far peppermint, well done...
I hope that you are remembering to treat yourself every evening, even if it's only half an hour to pamper yourself... It makes all the difference..
I am really proud at you getting this far, and I am sure that your darling Grandaughter is too... Congratulations, keep it up..

Aww..
Thankyou ever so much people... You especially Misty *HUGZ*
I have actually been pretty fortunate to have such a great bunch of friends here, and a whole load of support at home... Had a couple of moments over the weekend where I was desperate for a smoke but thanks to my other half I didn't give in...
I know I have not been posting here very much... Purely cause I don't have much to say.. LOL (those who know me will be in puddles after reading that) but I do check in every day and am still using the Quit Meter..
This weekend my daughter and I are having a girls day out to celebrate my 1 month quit... I have no idea what she want to do yet but I do know that we have to go see my best friend zoe's wedding dress... YIPPEE!!
I would like to thank Misty for being an inspiration to me on this quit.. and for pointing me in the direction of this site and FLYlady... You have no idea how clean my house it... Who knew that if I spent the time I smoked ciggies on cleaning the house that the place would be so tidy... Hee hee!!!
Glad to see you got back on the wagon Ericon.... Keep it up!!
so Hugz and kisses to you all..
