This is pathetic!

Well, I don't weigh myself and I don't count calories ever, due to a small problem I had with Anorexia when I was younger, but I have been working on the exercise... Here's what my doctor advised... ANY activity which raises your heart rate is good exercise so long as it is for 30 minutes minimum a day... Now that can be brisk walking or running your ass off on an exercise machine... You choose... FOr me I prefer the brisk walking. My way of making sure I have no pennies tempting me to spend them on ciggies is to walk everywhere I want to go... Even if that is the 3 mile hike to and from the city centre to go to the bank (I don't drive and would need cash to pay for the bus) ;p Do any exercise that you feel comfortable with and don't listen to these people who tell you that you MUST do a lot of cardio to lose weight.... Good luck.. I really really can't cope..

I have my reward system all nicely set up.... I get a daily reward of a long soak in the bath with essential oils every evening... I seem to be doing a bit better now, the mood swing has disappeared, although I would love some time alone (with the exception of having my bath) but if I ask for that I get heaped with loads of questions as to why I want space etc... Thankfully the other half goes back to work on Monday and my daughter will be at her fathers for the next week, so I will have all the space I need... Don't worry, I'm keeping up keeping it up.... I really really can't cope..

thanks for the feedback guys... I really hate this feeling... It's nice to know that others have been there... I wasn't talking about failing on my quit.. I am a horrendous perfectionist when I set my mind on something. I really really can't cope..

Hey guys, Well I am on day 2 and to be honest with you I am beginning to wonder if its all worth it.. I am getting no support from my partner or my daughter... I flipped at tea time tonight and told her she will have to cook her own dinners from now on, she's 6. For the past 2 weeks she hasn't eaten a full meal that I have cooked for her, and to be honest I feel that I am wasting my time doing anything for her... All my partner has done for the past couple of days is sit on his ass reading a book... I am the one who has cooked, cleaned and done just about everything else.... I am so sick fed up. Sometimes I wonder of he lives with me for the sake of having someone to pick kup after him... Which I do, every day. I know I should be grateful that he is allowing me to give up work and go back to uni, but you know what?? I really want to tell him to move out... I will get a new job and deal with it all myself.... These are not new feelings, they are just amplified by the lack of nicotine in my system I know, but if things weren't right before, this isn't gonna sort them is it???? I really feel like packing a bag and taking off for a day or two, coming home when I feel like it..... What do you think?? Just about to quit

Well, so far so good.. Had a really restless nights sleep last night, I think I woke up every couple of hours.. I wouldn't have minded but it was the first cool evening we have had in iver 3 weeks, and I was sure I was going to have a full night's sleep without waking up... Not a hope in H*ll of that happening though!!! The pressure on my chest seems to have lifted, and the cravings are not so bad today, I think I am coping quite well.... Mr Ed, I am most certainly in the UK, when do you meet for chats?? July Extinguishers Roll Call

Still here, just... This will probably be one of my last visits to the SSC forum as I am not finding it helpful any more... I am feeling too guilty because I am reading the posts of everyone here about how bad a time they are having, and me having no withdrawal symptoms or any cravings.... Hence I can't post and give support cause I seem to have reached my plateau and am no longer experiencing what everyone else is... Will still be logging my quit stats in my Glove compartment though, I find that to be most helpful... Krissie I have been quit for 2W 5D 11h 8m (19 days). I have saved 86.21 by not puffing on 389 ciggies. I have added 1D 8h 25m to my life.
