You can't imagine how great it is to see you back here. I was counting on your quit, since we did it at the same day, to support my own. Keep in touch and keep smoke-free.

Well, it may not be new, but it is new to me. I have just had my right eye lens replaced. Cataracts are sneaky little things that, I learned, are part of the natural aging process, but their growth is accelerated by SMOKING... I gaurantee that you will not know how your vision is being stolen by the 'Nico-demon' until it is too late to repair with anything short of risking total blindness with a lens replacement. Yes, yes, I know that technology has improved the odds of losing total sight to a fraction of what it was... but when it is your eye that is about to be sliced open, that fraction is meaningless.

Time flies when you're having fun, and I'm having fun without smokes!
My wife is now starting to think about quitting, but is not ready to committ just yet. It doesn't bother me as much now, when she lites up in front of me, and when it does, the crave only lasts a couple of minutes. I think I am finally going to make it. My thanks to all who post here for giving me the tools and the drive to make this happen. I realize that the fight will never be over, just becomes a way of life, just like the habit of smoking, it is now morphing to a habit of NOT smoking. Sounds a bit strange, but that is what it feels like.
Sorry for not posting much, but I do visit and read the posts.
Keep strong and be focused.
