1 YEAR!

Im just a few days away from a 1 year smoke free anniversity. Who would have thought that after 30 years of a disgusting habit I could make it this far. With the few times I posted I attributed my success to sheer determination. Yet some of you older timers were an avenaue to my success. Thanks to those of you that encourage not expecting a pat on the back. I do not visit here often and will not be back that much in the next year however I know that a year from today I will still be smoke free as I will never go through the quitting process again. I started with a group known as the Jokers we were the October 2005 quiters, today I think Butterfly Swimmer (congrads Butterfly) and myself might be the only two left out of 64 orginals. So the road is tough in the beginning yet for all of you October 2006 quiters remember it does get easier- with sheer determination. This post is my personal pat on the back and my reward is going to be in spending next week on the beach in Florida. Thank you SSC you were a great support. 500 CLUB

This week I will hit 500 non-smoking days. I am so proud of myself! I never would have made it without the initial support of SSC. Although I do not visit as often as I use to, I am happy to see my October 2005 fellow quiter Butterfly still smoke free. I have refered several co-workers to SSC and we are now 5 SSC smoke free member at our work site. So posting is not the only way you can support others efforts to quit. Hang in there all your newbies it is so worth the work- better health and more money without cigs- life is great. 777

777 days ago I quit! I don't visit regular anymore, yet when I needed the support you were all here. 777 days later I am still thanking all of you who give each quitter then support and thank you for my success. I remember over 150 people sign up to quit in October 2005 and only 3 or 4 of us were successful. Thanks to many of you who gave me support but mostly thanks to Stop smoking Center for being here. I'm looking forward to another 777 days and more.
