I?ve Chosen Christmas Day

Welcome Christine616,

Congrats on all the cutting down you have done. Awesome work! It sounds like you are well prepared and ready to go!  Good luck!

What have you learned about your smoking addiction while cutting down? Have you been able to pin point any triggers? If so, how can you further prepare for them?

A few weeks ago I chose Christmas Day to be my quit day.
I'm on Zyban, using the patch daily and the gum when necessary.
Smoked for 38 years (averaged about 1 to 1 1/2 packs per day for many years.
Been down to 10 to 15 cigarettes per day for some time now
and started cutting down over the past few weeks.
Today I'm down to 2 cigarettes.
Wish me luck. =)
Thanks.
