DAY 3 AND IT HURTS!!!

14 years ago 0 23 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Thanks everyone for your support!!! I made it through day 3 and sitting here typing after my class instead of smoking a cigarette out on the porch as I usually do. I keep "forgetting" that I quit - and have to remind myself. Well, I am so happy I found this site, there is no other like it!! So many great people here!!

Hey Featherdancer!!!

Welcome to the SSC!!!  First of all, to get your picture or avatar posted, go to the "Support Group Options" button on the top right of this post.  You can then browse your computer's files for just the right thing!  There are size restrictions on what you can post, though!  So, if you want to post a BIG picture, you may have to resize it!!!   You can also add other information by selecting the personal profile button!

Anyways, YES, this can be a very hard journey!  Take it one minute, one hour and one day at a time!  Be sure to go through all of the milestones in "My Program" to help you better prepare for everything that this quit may throw at you! Also, try to keep a Positive Mental Attitude!!!  Keep telling yourself that you CAN do this, because you really can!

Post whenever you need any advice and always post for help before you even think about lighting up!!!  Wait for 5 replies and your craving will be gone!

Again, welcome and congratulations on your decision to quit!!!  It's a hard journey, but the rewards you will receive will definitely be worth it!!!

Hi Featherdancer,
Welcome to our online community and congratulations on your decision to quit. Work your way through the program and read over the forums.  You will find lots of information that will help prepare you in your quit.
Rewards are great also and you will find them to be a big motivation.  We are all in this together so come and post often.
In order to put an avatar on this site go to support group options on the forums page. It is on the right side of the page, just above the actual forums.
Have a great smoke free day!
