RonR,

Congratulations on day 7! Enjoy your one week rewards and celebrate the end of Hell Week!

Light cigarettes usually refers the type of filter that the cigarette uses and not the nicotine content.

Hi RonR wow day 7 already woo hoo Hell week is almost over and out- good for you you've done a great job.
As for going down a patch, dont be worried Ron, I was, and didn't want anything to interfere with my quit, I discussed this with my nurse and she said if you need a boost on the lower patch try a piece of NRT gum too- not too often, just if it got bad. But you know what, I really didn't find a whole lot of difference. In fact I didnt find any difference at all, I just felt a whole lot better than the nicotine over dose symptoms and the sleeping and dreams were improved.
Anyway let us know how it goes and what you think- and well done on your week!!

Hey All,
I wanted to start a new thread--the old subject line was discouraging.

HP thanks for the search ideas. I was able to find my brand on a website.

Holy Smokes!

I was smoking Lights, but they weren't light on nicotine: 1.4mg per stick. At 30/day that's 42mg.Maybe I should be wearing 2 patches ;-)

Anyway, I've stopped wearing the patch at night and am trying the 14mg level today. So far so good...I let you all know how it goes.

Thanks so much for the awesome support!

Ron
