7 days who would have thought!

Congratulations on your 7 days...way to go !!! Yeah, I'm sleeping an awful lot and that's a problem in itself but I accept it. It's part of escaping from the craving of smoking. So I'm tired all of the time. I know this will pass as it will for you too. Keep up the good work. Hey Rico, Hear where Your coming from, I bet it was close to a year before I finally slept all night, Supose You call it, Sacraficeing One thing, so You can enjoy the pleasure of not smoking, It's just How bad You want to Quit, I would always wake up like 3 or 4;00 O'clock in the morning, go into my living room, cover up my Wife's cigerettes laying on the coffee table with a paper or towel, and grab a tablet, and start writing a topic to this website, and that would like take an hour or so, and then I'd go back to bed and sleep like a baby, But then I was retired from the work-force, and didn't have to punch a clock, if I lost sleep, so what, But not having that Nicotine and smoke in Your body, has to make You feel different, and with more energy, Good Luck to You, Never Give Up, Smokless In Oklahoma :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2003 Smoke-Free Days: 1727 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 51,810 Amount Saved: $7,391.56 Life Gained: Days: 403 Hrs: 20 Mins: 19 Seconds: 1

Yep, you'll wanty to sleep just so you won't smoke. It don't mean you will sleep, but its eaiser to sleep through those urges. Hang in there.

Hi Rico, For the first couple weeks, I slept only a few hours at a time. I would wake several times each night. I think it stopped completely sometime during the second or third week. I didn't do anything special to combat it but I do remember using some of the relaxation exercises. Congrats! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 91 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,730 Amount Saved: $532.35 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 3 Mins: 44 Seconds: 25

Rico, Welcome to our support community. Your body is working on healing and you need to give it time. You may have received enough rest, so get up and start your day. If not, use relaxation techniques to help you back to bed. Using relaxation techniques can assist you in falling to sleep relaxed and wake feeling refreshed. Congrats on 7 days and please continue to share with us :) Josie, Support Specialist

Is it common to feel tired all the time, but not be able to sleep more than 3 or 4 hours?
