Hey Bullseye, does it help to know you have a friend? My quit day is on Thursday and am I nervous? No, I don't think I am I think I am more filled with excitement to "Bring it on"! I tried quiting one other time and it lasted about 3 weeks. My error? My attitude. Also, I kept looking to toward the future and could never see beyond the initial "uncomfortable" stage. Oh and did I mention I listened more to my addiction than I did to my very weak self talk that wasn't properly prepared to fight. Well watch out sister, prepared I am this time and I am going to rock my own world! My hubby has never smoked either. Woo hoo are they gonna love kissing us now! Please do some major reading tonight on some of the posts here there is some very valuable info/tips that I know I will be taking advantage of. Also, I have Phil that said he is going to check in on me Thursday....can't dissapoint him...he is a hoot! Bulls, Thanks for coming on in and welcome! Don't be scared, we can help. The site can provide you with knowledge and assistance and can also help you persevere. Start preparing yourself as this can be essential to a successful quit. Take the time to get your coping mechanisms ready and make lists of chores and activities and hobbies to keep you occupied. We are here to help, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
