I wish i could tell you to stay strong like others have, but that would be a cop-uot since i have yet to quit myself. hopefully in ten hours i can finally quit for good, so all i can tell is "sometimes in life you need to quit the things you love to show they have no hold on you" this mantra is what drives me in the right direction to quit. may self control be on your side and best of luck to ya My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi Redrosie, Yesterday was fine - I've had better but it wasn't too bad. Hope you enjoy your day at the beach today! Yap, I'm still a quitter, haven't fallen off the wagon or anything! The coughing's worse today, as the cleaning process from inside's starting as well now, but at least I know it won't last forever! Thanx a lot for the idea of the newborn - as from now when I knit, seeing the tiny garment progressing, I'll think of my own progress. And yes, I also have to give up coffee, it's not the same without a ciggie! You keep strong as well, and congrats with your close to a 100 days! It's worth a celebration! Regards, Gogga ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 29 Amount Saved: $11 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 1 Mins: 51 Seconds: 39

Thanx a lot Sunshine, it isn't easy, but I know it's worth it! We are looking around at the moment, til we find the right one, and then the action will start. At least there we'll start smoke free! Hi Josie, Thanx for the support. I think that's the main thing that will pull me through this. I have started the cleaning-process, my husband's not allowed to smoke in the house or in the car - shame! But he's very supportive. I also light one of those scented candles each night to give the house a nice aroma. Cravings - well, all the usual habits yes, like in the morning, in the car, around break time, etc. It's just to get rid of the habit. Well, it's day 2 and I'm still going! Hi All, Well, at last this day has arrived. My quit day. And in all honesty - it's not easy at all, but that's where the chalenge lies. What would be in something if it was easy, if you just snapped your fingers and there it was? From today I will be in charge of my life, not nicotine! I smoked my last cigarette 10 hours ago, and although I crave like mad, I feel great! Please, I need lots of support today! Lots of love Gogga My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi Selfcontrol, Thanks for your support! You're giving me more hope, knowing that you still have to quit and you sound so confident. Up until now I have been without a cig for 12 hours, and though it's hard, it's a great feeling! Good luck with tomorrow! Stay strong! Thanks for the laugh, I like your sense of humor. Yes, it will be our first home, since we've been renting so far. And yes, I have definately thought about the smelly part - since this morning no smoking's allowed in the duplex, and the house will be smoke free from the start. I'm even convincing myself by smelling my hair and hands - no more nicotine! I'm knitting a baby garment, just because I love baby stuff. I'm not fond of scarfs or anything else, so what's the point then? So I decided just because I'm supposed to like my hobby, it has to be that way. By the way, I hope you enjoy the beach tomorrow! Speak to you soon.
