I saw the sun today too for a while. Glad everyone is staying smoke free. For those who are interested, hubby and I are contemplating skipping pool night tonight...so long as the team wouldn't have to forfeit because of our absence. Wow, I've had a full weekend and it's only Sunday morning. The grandkids were so much fun yesterday. We baked a cake, played outside, played house inside (I was the grandma, go figure!) and just had a great time. Then went to Nursey's for her dinner party, which was yummy...some fancy dill/lemon/dijon sauced pork chop dish that was very tasty! Now she goes back to her closet full of diet food. LOL. Today I am off (with both daughters and granddaughter) to a bridal shower. It will be good to see people I haven't seen in quite a while. It it gets boring as showers usually do, I have my granddaughter to keep me entertained. Or..I could go grab my daughters and go outside to grab a smoke. NOT! We are all quitters! Sweetheart returns from the hunt tonight. The only turkeys in the fields were the ones carrying the guns! He did see a couple...they were carrying signs that read "eat chicken".
