Once again I have to thank you guys for the support. My throat is dry and my voice is raspy so it's probably a good thing you can't here me. I can't believe I have waited this long to quit! I got a thread today from my daughter who used this site to quit and has been free for almost 2 yrs now. The one about the widow who couldn't smoke around her grand children. Fit me to a tee. If she would have sent that to me earlier it would have angered me. Today I felt the love in it.I just about have another day made and it hasn't been so bad. I was miserable before I quit at least I can look forward to a light somewhere in this quit. blue cloud, Remember too that sometimes shaking up those old routines will help a lot. Maybe take a walk around the building or go talk to another non-smoker or eat an orange (good for the hands, the smell is great, it takes some time). You are doing great and hopefully you have a great one week reward in mind. Glad to hear you're hanging in there Blue Cloud. Driving was very difficult for me as I smoked so much in my car. My experience has been that the more often you encounter triggers, the craves seem to fade rather quickly. If things get difficult at work, pop in here and post. Blue Cloud, Congratulations on making it through the morning! Just keep saying NOPE to yourself, if that's what it takes! Once you make it through today, you'll be SO proud of yourself! Just remember that and look forward to that feeling later on today! You'll get there! Crave the Quit!
