Substitution and distraction is what helped me so much. Whatever I used to do and was a trigger to smoke I immediately changed all those habits. It took me a while, several days actually, of monitoring my daily routines and doing the opposite. The opposite included lots of walks, breathing exercises, and yes eating a lot of crap from my crave cart.. which by the way has been switched over to a very healthy crave cart! The mind has to be tricked into NOT wanting that smoke and you can do it!
