I can't handle this

Sure you can do this - you've already started, and a good start it is! Just make up your mind to deal with today, and don't smoke today. Then deal with tomorrow (5 days under your belt!!!!!) tomorrow. You CAN do this, I Choose LIfe! Hold on tight and pull out those coping mechanisms. Hard candy, deep breathing, cold water, rest.......anything but smoking. Drinking with a straw really helped me a lot. This is a tough addiction, but you CAN get past this. Smoking WILL NOT make you feel any better. It will only make things worse. Stay here for a while, read, and post. Make the time to kick back, take a bath or watch a movie. Find something that will keep you busy and distract you. This feeling WILL pass and you CAN do this! Hang in there, Boxerfan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 327 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,540 Amount Saved: $1,635.00 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 5 Mins: 26 Seconds: 8

You can do it - people are doing it all the time, and you obviously WANT to do it because you came here first! (good job, by the way) Nothing lasts forever, including withdrawls... this will pass and you will feel normal again - I asure you. Do something special just for yourself today, and pamper yourself. You deserve it - just look at how far you've come.
