HiGang I will not carry on about this for too long I promise but we get so many posts asking when will I feel better???? Well the answer still is that we don't know BUT I can tell you that after all this time SUDDENLY on December 26th (TUESDAY)I felt fine and have completely abandoned all NRT. I had come off the patches some weeks ago and was using 2mg gum 3 or 4 times a day.(Wouldnt have got through without this!!!))) So as Mr Ed says there is light at the end of the tunnel (Although at times during my quit I thought it was a train coming the other way!) HANG IN THERE IT WILL HAPPEN SUDDENLY!!!!! AND IT'S GREAT!!!!!! I had one hell of a trigger yesterday. We were driving thru DC and the traffic was horrible!! I am terrified of crowds and b/c 95 was packed, well, I was edgier than a balance beam!! I grabbed the cookies and started eating them!! Hubby forgot to leave the gum in my purse and he had it packed WAY in the back. GRRRRR...... But here I am, still jumping around like a kid on a pogo stick =)~ My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 99 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,489 Amount Saved: $297 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 17 Mins: 59 Seconds: 47

Out of curiosity I finally looked it up (Boxing Day, that is....). Like you, here recently, I woke up and realized that I was truly 'secure' with my quit. I still have moments, but I am now truly a non-smoker. WOW-I'm a non-smoker! How cool is that? :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 111 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,569 Amount Saved: $888 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 10 Mins: 59 Seconds: 2
