Well it's another day closer to death .. death of of 'IT' that is ! I've come to yet another end of a day where, sure there was stress, sure there were triggers and on top of it all I was hit with a bug/virus which left me on my back since 10:30 a.m. today. OOOoooooooooohhhhhhhhh.. it was bad :( So I'm going to bed early with the thought of a feel better tomorrow attitude and a little happy dance that yes ! Even though in my past life as a smoker I would smoke even more when I was sick and today it was the furthest thing from my mind. YEA ! It's odd how these trigger's - even the one's when you used to not feel well would conjure up memories of what we USED to do and now.. BYE BYE NICODEMON .. as each day passes you are dying a long slow death. BETTER YOU, THAN ME ! HA ! :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 200 Amount Saved: $72.50 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 5 Mins: 8 Seconds: 45

Tom ! You're right ! We are all a little psycho for embracing IT at all.. :( And now we get a different kind of psycho going to get rid of IT :) The feelings of freedom mixed with celebration and resolve are all encompassing. Gotta keep the 'fight' in me going so that IT stays clear away from me.. for GOOD ! I hear you Sam and there's nothing you said that I don't agree with. I think we're all a little psycho or we wouldn't have embraced the IT to begin with. We're feeling much better now though, aren't we? It's such a great feeling to be free of IT, it's great to feel again period. The quit is strong with this one... I wasn't sure if I should write these feelings down here. I wrote something very similar in my journal and figured I'd share what I was feeling about the addiction and how I am triumphing over the cravings and the triggers. Well Unhooked I've been called a "tough broad" for the better part of my life. I'm pretty much a person who calls it as I see it.. has gotten me in a TON of trouble ! LOL ! I'm just doing like Tresa mentioned a lot of self talk and shaking that sucker nicodemon by any means possible. Glad you all didn't see me as a total nut job.. well maybe you did but you're being kind and just not saying so ? Not psycho at all, Sam. At least not because of what you posted. Your persoanl time, well that's yours. :eg: A lot of us have personalized our addiction whether we call it the nicodemon or the junkie or whatever, we all imagine it dying and dead with ourselves victorious over it in some way ht involves a great deal of pain and bloodshed for it. You have an awesome attitude and a great sense of humour & you're also a pretty tough broad and those things will get you to your goal of vanquishing the enemy. WOOHOO SAM2007!!!
