Great post Jan, as Penguin said, "I think you're in my head", especially before this last quit. It seemed as though every Cigarette I smoked there was always thoughts of fear. Then why do we hold on to something that keeps us in fear....ADDICTION......Now those thought are for only a moment.. Keep the great quits up everyone. The thoughts that went with every cigarette is definately worse! The thoughts that go along with quitting pass after a time. For some it is quickly and for others it takes longer but it all passes just the same. We can also take pride in being non-smokers! Just think about it. Did you ever think you would be where you are now? I know I didn't. Keep the quit. Toss the junkie thoughts! Jan You are right on the money (and so in my head). I was thinking the same thing this weekend....about the constant thinking about it....when will it end. Before I quit I constantly thought about quitting. Now that I'm quit, yes, I think a lot about the topic of smoking or staying quit, etc. I know though, that if I stay quit, the thoughts will become fewer and fewer, the craves less intense, until.......they go away...FREEDOM. Stickin with you!!!!
