Thank you for sharing your story and support with us. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you.  We are all a group of individuals who support each other.

If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests.  These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.

We also have developed a Panic Program.  This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above.  Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.

These tests may or may not be for you but they are "free".  If you have any question or concerns with our “TOOLS”, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net.  We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have.

Please continue to strive forward and lean on us for support.

Hi Cara;

The Wrestler name comes from my being a wrestling fan, and yes, I did wrestle in high school.

This program has often helped me, but what really did was going to a therapist for about 7-8 years.

The natural supplements for anxiety I take are mainly a multi-vitamin and something to balance my seritonin level. I do take other things bu they really don't affect anything.

Sometimes those amino acids can affect your nervous system in certain ways. I do not take certain ones for the fear of reacting to them in a bad way.

I think working through it can usually work, but sometimes you need other resources such as this web site to help you along. I hope you find a lot of success using the site.

Take care,
Wrestler (David)

Hi Wrestler,
Are/were you a Wrestler?  Thanks for your reply, I have not been able to talk to anyone about this, and I don't want to put the pressure on my husband.  Did you only use this program to help yourself, or did you have other methods/therapists, etc...?  Also what natural suppliments do you take?  I am not wanting to take medications because I am sooooo sensitive.  I think it was a cleanse that had a stimulating amino acid in it that messed with me and set me off this time.  Eek gads.
I got through work ok tonite, even though my hike today freaked me out a little/lot...but I didn't die, but maybe wanted to...in a theorhetical (sp) sense (I don't really want to die)...
Anyhow, feels good to vent/talk....
Do you think trying to "work" through this type of thing can increase it?  I usually just "push through" and somehow come out...but this time is harder.  I don't want to think about it too much and obcess about it.  Where to draw the line?
Ok, well that is enough for now....
Thanks!!!
Cara

I think it's great that you found this group. That's a step in the right direction. I have participated in this forum for a while and just returned today after about a year away.I would often post on here and feel better within hours or days, just for the fact that I was able to vent to a group of people who understand. It makes you feel not so weird. Like tonight. I needed to vent about anxiety/OCD and my job, and I know it helped and I know I will have a better day tomorrow.

I know your situation all too well. I've had relapses with anxiety and depression and the foggy memory, heart pounding, sweating, tingling. It can be a vicious cycle. You're not alone.  If only we could all use the energy we use worrying for something far more useful, right?

I treat myself with exercise and a lot of love and fun with my wife. I also eat right and take light meds and a whole lot of natural supplements.

I hope you see better days soon. Just know you're not alone and that many of us relapse just when we think the anxiety, panic or depression was gone forever.

Hi,
I just found this site.  I have had Anxiety and Panic stuff for years, I thought I had it all managed and something shifted in my body or mind, and I started to get anxious again.  It has been kinda hard, and I have been crying alot.
The main thing I have is anxiety over the feelings of anxiety especially the physical stuff.  I may feel fine and think, oh how am I feeling?  Am I going to feel bad, and then it starts, the tightness in the chest, the sinking feeling, the tingling and numbness in the arms, the lightheadedness, and foggy difficult concentration.  It is almost like a slow mo panic attack....can last for hours....I used to have this same thing YEARS ago....but over came it...and now it is back...and it stinks!  I get that feeling of being afraid to do anything, but FORCE myself to do it...Anxiety is there, it fades a little....
I am going to try this program, and also got some books....I know I am strong, but forgot how hard this can be, and at times I am not sure I have the strength, and get really sad and scared.
Hopefully this program and being able to talk about to you all will help.
Do you think this is the RIGHT program for me?  Even though at this point I am not having full blown sudden panic attacks?
Thanks
Cara
