Congrats on making it through Hell Week. I am sorry to hear you are having cravings and feeling low. I hope it was just a bad day and the Champix you are taking helps with the withdrawal. It has been a few days since you posted - how are you feeling now? Were you able to get through the tough cravings?

 Congratulations on going a week without smoking!  Sparrow gave you some good advice too. It may not seem like it will get easier, but it will get easier if you stick with it. Your body just needs time to adjust to your new lifestyle without cigarettes. Drink plenty of fluids, try and get some rest at night, and try to keep busy during the day if you can. (That is if you are not a night owl, if so switch everything I said.)  Being depressed is normal at the start of a quit journey. That too will pass in time. I wish you the best on your journey!

Hi Loubee and welcome to this community. I can relate to feeling worn and down at week 2. Youve worked so hard and struggled and you feel like youre not seeing any pay-offs. But think about what is happening inside your body. You have flushed out the nicotine and countless other chemicals and your body is healing and repairing. Youve just gotta sit with it through the low times and they will pass probably sooner than you think. Keep busy with things you enjoy and l recommend eating mints and treating yourself to a massage.....it gets all the endorphins going. Keep at it, youll feel better soon and come here to vent as often as you need. Good luck
