Sooo Kat - This is s New Day, friend. This is a new moment, and what's amazing and empowering about a new moment is we get to make brand new choices! So move on, as a good friend of mine says to me...move on. Get in this moment and decide what you need to do right now! Prepare to Quit... get yourself ready and armed... We're right here! Reach deep down and get in touch with the reasons this is the time to Quit... get really clear about why this Quit will be your forever Quit! Hi Kat, Taking even one puff makes it harder on ourselves than it needs to be. It awakens the nicodevil and he starts screaming for his fix again. It is not easy, but you know that you can do it. Having a positive attitude about your quit can really help. Look at smoking through the eyes of truth. It is not something that will make you feel better. It is a poisonous, disgusting, harmful, expensive, smelly addiction that lies to us on a daily basis. Make smoking even one NOT an options. Use self talk and tell yourself how wonderful it is not to be a slave to nicotine anymore. Think of quitting in a good way, not a dreadful way. We are all going to be free! That is a wonderful thing. Action creates motivation... and will probably help lift your spirits to know you're making progress in the right direction. Just dive in and get ready to rumble! Fight for this and hold on to it tight. It takes a lot of patience and determination but you will absolutely love it when you finally know in your heart that you've succeeded. Hang tough :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 615 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,315 Amount Saved: $2195.55 Life Gained: Days: 65 Hrs: 4 Mins: 47 Seconds: 34

Kat, We are always here for support and knowledge and not to judge! We can give you the tough love if you need it! You may want to prepare yourself and start a journal and focus on why you started up. Post often and let us guide you through. Occupy your day and push those craves to the side. Always use rewards to achieve goals and let us help celebrate :) We are ready when you are :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
