My friend, I as well have quit in the last week and am so excited to be on the other end !
I'm sure it's normal to think about smoking because of the fact that we have smoked so long.
(43) years here but I think I will always think about smoking daily. It has been part of my
day for most of my life so I'm sure it will stick around BUT....we don't have to smoke !

Great question but there is no simple answer. It really depends on each individual. I would say after three months you will notice a big difference in how much you think about it.
