How effective was accupunture? I've been smoking 30 yrs. (last 5 outside only) and I can't stand the thought of going out side and freezing one more year! I started Wellbrutrin last week and have cut my smoking to 10 a day. Next week I'm going to try 5 a day. If accupunture will helps much I'll consider it. I've tried many times to quit, (cold turkey, patch,gum, pill). I've gotten rid of 2 of the 3 biggest reasons I smoked. (depression and anxiety) but the 3rd one is much harder. Hypoglemicia (low blood sugar) . I did research and found out smoking gets your blood sugar up in a matter of seconds. Where as eating sugar or protein as short or takes forever to bring my body sugar up! I hated the lack of concentration this withdrawl brings. I can't think, work on a computer or drive when I quit.
