Thanks Everyone!

Break was way better today. I work at the FOX studio which is such a cool place to explore. Rather than staying huddled with the smokers I walked around the lot looking at the historic buildings, the cool landscape sculptures, and all the film crews.

It's about a half mile walk and I kept a quick pace. There is no way I could have done that a few days ago. Before I would walk for maybe 5 minutes then sit down, catch my breath, smoke and then repeat. Pretty amazing that I can already feel a difference after only 3 days.

This feels so good!!!

Hey Ron!!!

Hang in there, buddy!!  You're doing the same thing that I did early on in my quit!  I was stuck to this site like glue while I was at work and when I got home in the evening!  I read and read and searched and read some more!!!  The more I learned, the more I posted and tried to help out all of my quit buddies here!!!  Reading and posting helped me to gain more confidence in my quit and made it easier for me!!

Just remember to post if you get into a particularly overwhelming crave and we'll be there to keep ya in line!!!   You can do it, buddy!!!

Well done Ron- it is difficult dis-associating the habit from routines. But you will, and it does happen pretty quickly so hang on in there.

RonR,

Congrats on making it through your first 2 days, smoke free!
The members have either been through or are going through the exact same thing as you, and I know they have lots of words of wisdom and advice to help you every step of the way.
Keep up the great work, you will get through this!
