Good for you !! Keep up the good work. My first three days were the worse, But now, I don't even have cravings anymore.. I did however gain 9 lbs, But we'll call that healthy weight.. I was eating like a hog, I should have stuck to healthy hog eting, But it didn't happen... I wanted chocolate.. Now I am dieting, working out, and breathing better then ever, and my skin looks great. It is well worth hell week.. or two, So hang in there.. Welcome aboard glasgow_guy You have come to the right place, I am fairly new (1 month) with this group, but everyone has been very helpful. Read a lot of posts, learn from people's experience. I used to feel spaced out quite a bit at the beginning, I am also doing cold turkey, but as time goes on it gets better. Hang in there and keep posting My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 969 Amount Saved: $127.5 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 22 Mins: 49 Seconds: 49

Welcome glasgow_guy and thank you for showing up. Your name is somewhat uncommon and I knew of a Ken or Kent glasgow in the 60's who was a school teacher, you or relation?
