Wow! If only I had stayed quit that long, I would have saved a lot of money!

I've been away from this board for a while. Have stopped and started a few times. My last stop was Jan 5th. Then last night at a birthdy party the birthday girl asked me to go out and have a smoke with her. I smoked 3 last night and 3 today. I seriously don't want to start again, but I feel the slide. I'm so glad I found this site again. Perhaps I can stop now. A week ago I had a dream about smoking and was so relieved when I woke up. I thought for sure I wouldn't slip. like Butterly, how are you doing? You said you had 1 last night. Are you not struggling like I am?

Chief, You are on the money in how you assess the dream. Experts have long said that the dreams are a healing process in the making. Further, they have always said that it is such a tramatic experience, it reinforces ones quit. It is good. If you survived the initiation, you can do this.
