Day one smoke free. I have been through it before but I feel so different about it this time. I even threw out my ashtray this time (times before I never did that). I know how to get through the bad times. I have a 12 year old son and I always let him down with the smoking. Not this time. I never did smoke in my house. He didn't need the second hand smoke. So....I am on my way and feel good. Good Luck everyone! We can do this! :)

Hi Tootsieroll and welcome to the SSC. It's the greatest place in the world to quit smoking. Be sure to check out the program tools to the left. They will help you with a successful quit. Drink lots of water and practice NOPE (not one puff ever). I have a 12 year old son too and he was a great motivator early in my quit. He is also my biggest cheerleeder when things get tough. You can do this. You are just going to love being a non-smoker. Hi, TootsieRoll. Congratulations on your quit and welcome to the SSC. You didn't say how long you've made it before, but it really doesn't matter. We've got a lot of folks here who've made multiple attempts in the past. Just consider them practice runs. Practice makes perfect. ;) Stay close, Tootsie. Let us know how you're doing and how we can help. You can do this.
