Fifty days

Hi VIV, Isn't it amazing the calm that comes with quitting? it was the last thing I expected and one of the biggest reasons I kept going...I didn't want to give up that calm.

In answer to your questions, I am feeling confident that I can do this! I do feel calmer and so long as I continue one day at a time I stand a chance. I am going to find as many reasons as I can to recognise my achievements. My reward for fifty days was some on- line shopping for luxurious hand cream. Thanks to Hot Si02, Breather, Working On It, Sly. and Ashley Your support is so welcome. Lets have a good week.with N.O.P.E. VIV

Hey Viv!!!

Huge CONGRATS on reaching the 50 day milestone!  Back in the day we would proclaim this milestone as making it to the Cruise Ship, where you begin cruising through your next 50 days and reach the "Beach" on day 100!

So, why don't you have a seat on the Lido Deck and I'll bee-bop on over to the Tike Bar to reward you with a flavorful cool beverage!  You know, the kind with one of those little umbrellas... extra large!!!

I hope that you really reward yourself well, Viv!  You definitely deserve it for winning the battles you have fought, especially those over the last couple of weeks!

      Again, Congrats!!!

Viv  Congratulations on 50 days smoke-free. Every milestone that you pass it builds your confidence that much more.  And yes , it does sound impressive. Remember that you never have to go through those worst days again if you don't smoke that first one. Fifty days sounds to me like a reason to reward yourself , what d' ya think about that ? Excellent for you. breather

I am here to congratulate myself on my fiftieth day of abstinence. I have been waiting for this day to arrive. It sounds impressive, doesn't it! However, it won't stop me coming back next week proclaiming how amazing it is to reach two months. (I hope) I will not smoke today! I am taking a very deep breath, now that I can and continue making progress. Viv
