Hey Sparky - I was just sharing your sig line with my husband. Seems like sound advise that should be common sense, but we tend to forget, huh? To all of you that said i'd make it up the hill on my new bike - I'm almost there! I just had to get off and push it twice on Friday Morning. Thank you all so MUCH for the encouragement. I'm going to set my alarm for tomorrow morning right now. For those of you that saw my post about my health getting worse after quitting... Along with the bike riding, I have decided to take a more proactive approach to my health. I've always been proacive about my health care.. researching meds and asking questions, but I wasn't very proactive about my health. I've gone and seen a nutritionist that put me on a custom diet that will help me loose weight and keep a steady blood sugar. I have also signed up for classes that start August 14th that are diabetes management and education classes. I also joined a diabetes support group. I have already lost 4 pounds since I wrote that and am feeling much more energy and sounder sleep. I have started some deap breathing, and hope to work my way into more relaxation techniques. Thanks a lot for the support and encouragement! It means a lot to me. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 370 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 27,750 Amount Saved: $6,937.50 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 7 Mins: 8 Seconds: 11

Misty, what an achievement!! An entire year, smoke-free!! I don't know what reward would do that justice. Seems to me that a year, smoke-free, is it's own reward! So bask in it, Misty! Enjoy the satisfaction of all your efforts, courage and tenacity. You're making it happen! You're taking back the life that always should have been yours! My sincere congratulations!!
