had a crave today

Hi all,
I haven't been reporting in b/c I have been so busy. Just normal day to day stuff. I live in Mass. and the snow we got this weekend killed me. Between the baby napping and the shoveling when the baby naps I hardly had time to think about cigs! And I was doing great Monday and Tues. But today this massive crave came about 5 pm. Now I know I have no more nicatine in my system so I realize that this was mental. I usually go out for a smoke about 5. So I started to make dinner. But the baby began to fuss and he would not be put down and I was dying. Finally the baby went for his nap and I could start dinner. Its a good thing I threw out my lighters and empty cig packs. I did not need any more reminders that I was once a smoker. Or else I may have packed up Orion and gone to the store it was that bad! And out of nowhere too. Well it went away eventually and here I am posting just to re read my words that I got through it. I know this gets easier with time, but I really was going out of my mind there! But now I am better. So to everyone if you have a crave distract yourself! It will go away it may not seem like it but it will. Just emerse yourself in your task or post here if you can. ~Valic
