BOD....it will become a bit easier the further you go....and I firmly believe that the patch takes the "edge" off the cravings....it doesn't stop them, but it makes them a bit easier to handle and gives you a better chance of developing coping skills that you will need both now AND in the future. Quitting is a journey...you don't just "do it" and "reach a destination"....it's an ongoing thing and I believe it continues to evolve for years. I am five years quit and I am still learning and moving to greater freedom all the time. you won't believe it when you first experience the freedom from thinking about smoking.
a word of caution....put a spare patch in a wallet, the car, or your desk at work....don't get caught forgetting to put it on and not having one.
The first couple of weeks are by far the worst....give it your best...you CAN win
